New Studio Seeking to Record/Produce Singer or MC Songwriters for Free

Description

I’ve been mostly producing my own music, but looking to build a portfolio via producing around 1 track per month for free from start to a finished mix (ideally mastering occurs elsewhere). I’ve been playing since I was 6 and can proficiently play electric guitar, acoustic guitar (including finger plucking), piano, bass, vocals and drums. I also make beats and have been mixing for around a decade. While not super proficient, I can play uke and banjo well enough to add parts to songs. I am flexible in my production style, but these are 2 recent albums from my project Broken Ocean, where I composed and produced everything (aside from female vocals). https://soundcloud.com/brokenocean/sets/endless-moon https://soundcloud.com/brokenocean/sets/billionaire-baking Aside from playing instruments, I think finding cool synth parts, making beats and helping with the overall structuring of songs are my strong suits. In the past, I led an Indie Folk project in Seattle called Pocket Panda, where I sang and played guitar and piano. Here is a link to a PP song: https://soundcloud.com/pocketpandamusic/setting-sun-2 I have a number of other albums of where I did most of the composition and then led coordination of the band, which in several cases included orchestral instruments. This isn’t London Bridge, but does include high end gear such as Neve Preamps and EQ, SSL preamps and a recently added D-box+ Analog Summer (see equipment list below for more info). If this is of interest to you, message me back with a link to the original song of yours that you would like to record. The recording quality and genre is largely irrelevant - mostly just looking for songs with emotional resonance and I like everything from classical to hip hop to folk. I don’t have any social media yet for the studio, but it is located in West Seattle (near 30th and Roxbury) at a house that hosts concerts and jams called “Da Cabin” that you can find on Facebook. If you want to look me up, my name is Eric Herbig. I have always been a musician (since I was 6), but for a time I was also a Molecular Biologist. There are also 2 dogs and 2 cats that roam these studios.
