It wasn’t a coup. Get this in your head; The Jan 6 incursion was by a group of people who believed they were protecting the Democratic system. They believed the election had been stolen. Now, whether or not they were correct is another matter. Besides they made no attempt to kill leaders, seize and hold the building or destroy it. It was a RIOT. Out of a few 100,000 people there a relatively small group got overwrought and became carried away—hotheads. If you are going to label everyone there as traitor and arrest them we will need to start building concentration camps because there are millions of BLMTIFA that rioted last year that should go as well.
