Swine farm seeking Weekend Herdsperson. Duties: Routine animal care to ensure welfare/well-being of the animals Daily observations and health checks Maintain accurate records as required Farm sanitation, basic maintenance and animal movement Understand and follow the company's safety requirements, animal welfare policies and biosecurity procedures Strict adherence to bio-security protocols Work as a team player by accomplishing daily work requirements and goals May operate mowers, tractors, trucks, and other farm equipment as directed. Skills/Qualifications: Ability to follow instructions and deal with standardized situations Strong commitment to teamwork- must work well in both team and individual work settings Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be able to work in a stressful environment Mechanical aptitude Able to manage multiple tasks at once and adapt to new situations with relative ease is essential Detail-oriented Good communication skills Previous agriculutural experience preferred TO APPLY: Please email resume/qualifications and contact information.
