So here's the situation:
A 7 member band with only 3 vocalists buys 2 PA rehearsal speakers for 300 bucks 10 years ago. They split the costs of the speakers 7 ways. The band breaks up leaving only 2 members/non-vocalists. I join the band 7 years ago, a non participant of the speaker purchase. Band now has 6 new members that also were not part of the purchase. I make an offer of 100 bucks for both speakers to the band leader and he doesn't know how to handle the offer. Do the lost members get their portion back with depreciation splitting my 100 buck offer or give them the amount they originally pitched in?
This is really a mess now and shouldn't have happened to start with if all artists bought their OWN equipment. Your thoughts?
