Rob’s Automotive has been in business for over 40 years. We employ more than 250 people across 10 different divisions and are currently looking to expand. Rob’s is looking for a Body Technician who will be responsible for repairing damaged automobiles as per manufacturer’s and industry standards to pre-accident condition. Requirements: - Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience - High school diploma and at least 18 years old - Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen - Ability to pass a motor vehicle report - An acceptable safe driving record - Valid driver’s license We are looking for a team player who will: - Follow instructions on part restoration/replacement and time estimates - Review damage reports, prepare and/or review repair cost estimates, and plan work to be performed - Inspect repaired vehicles for completion and accuracy of work, and proper functioning - Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans (both manual and automatic) - Multitask in a fast-paced work environment - Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to customers and co-workers - Examine products, equipment, and work for defects, problems, and errors - Plan, organize, and execute repairs to meet performance deadlines - Focus on providing exemplary customer service and demonstrate a strong work ethic - Use relevant knowledge and apply new job knowledge - Read and understand technical diagrams, estimates and manufacturer specifications - Act as a positive role model for all team members, creating a professional, positive work environment - Contribute to the goals of the shop, leadership team, and company
