We are looking for volunteers to participate in the parade as banner carriers for the many great parade sponsors! Would you like to be part of this great Milwaukee celebration? The 54th Shamrock Club of Wisconsin St. Patrick's Day Parade hits the street of downtown Milwaukee on Saturday, March 12. Presented by Beer Capitol, the parade steps off at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive & Wisconsin Avenue at noon, and finishes at Water & Highland. Join us for one of the oldest & grandest St. Patrick's Day celebrations in the country. Featuring over 100 units including floats, Irish dancers, bagpipe & marching bands and local celebrities & dignitaries, this is a party you'll want to be a part of! Additional Details: Banner carriers are asked to be in place by 11:15 a.m. The parade wraps up at roughly 1:30 p.m. You will be walking the entire parade route outdoors, which is approximately 1.5 miles. Please plan accordingly in regards to footwear, weather appropriate clothes & distance capability. Please keep in mind parking and parade street closures.
