We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our talented and innovative team members at our Corporate Office in Orlando. The Warehouse Manager must plan, direct, or coordinate the storage or distribution operations within an organization or the activities of organizations that are engaged in storing or distributing materials or products. This position includes the responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials. Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities. Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements. Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services. Develop and document standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging products or materials. Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments. Monitor inventory levels of products or materials in warehouses. Develop storage and distribution models that include factors such as warehouse locations, customer locations, or available transportation modes to maximize operational efficiency or sustainability. Track and trace goods while they are en route to their destinations, expediting orders when necessary. Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated. Interview, select, and train warehouse and supervisory personnel. Work with external auditors in conjunction with Accounting for Warehouse/Inventory related inquiries DETAILED WORK ACTIVITIES · Analyze data to inform operational decisions or activities. · Analyze forecasting data to improve business decisions. · Conduct employee training programs. · Confer with organizational members to accomplish work activities. · Coordinate operational activities with external stakeholders. · Develop emergency response plans or procedures. · Develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures for green or sustainable operations. · Develop safety standards, policies, or procedures. · Develop sustainable organizational policies or practices. · Document organizational or operational procedures. · Estimate cost or material requirements. · Evaluate environmental impact of operational or development activities. · Evaluate potential of products, technologies, or resources. · Hire personnel. · Implement organizational process or policy changes. · Implement transportation changes to reduce environmental impact. · Inspect condition or functioning of facilities or equipment. · Interview employees, customers, or others to collect information. · Model operational processes. · Monitor facilities or operational systems. · Monitor inventories of products or materials. · Monitor performance of organizational members or partners. · Monitor resources. · Negotiate contracts for transportation, distribution, or logistics services. · Plan facility layouts or designs. · Prepare operational progress or status reports. · Resolve customer complaints or problems. · Schedule activities or facility use. · Schedule product or material transportation. · Supervise employees. · Train employees on environmental awareness, conservation, or safety topics. EDUCATION: High School Diploma EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years experience; must be able to pass a background and MVR check. · Other requirements: Able to work flexible hours as needed Physical/Work Environment: The employee occasionally reach with hands and arms; Climb or balance; Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; the employee is frequently Stand; Walk; Sit; Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; the employee is regularly Talk or hear; The employee occasionally lifts Up to 10 pounds; Up to 25 pounds; Up to 50 pounds; Up to 100 pounds; More than 100 pounds; The employee is occasionally Work near moving mechanical parts; Work in high, precarious places; Outdoor weather conditions; Extreme heat (non-weather)· Environmental Demands: Work is performed in various types of environment such as a warehouse, office space, stores located in hotels and outside environments such as in theme parks.
