Foster parents, join us for an in-person discussion on independent living skills with guest speaker Rachel Workinger from Wayne County. Foster Parents, please join us for our January training facilitated by Rachel Workinger, BS (Wayne County Worker). This in-person class focuses on the topic of independent living skills. Light dinner/refreshments will be provided at the CCHO main campus. Child care is not provided. This training is open to any licensed foster parents in the community (there will be a cut off for non Encourage foster families at 25 people). All foster parents will receive 3 hours of on-going training hours for their foster care license. Encourage offers training events that will help foster families keep up with your foster parent license, give you practical knowledge and skills for daily life, and bring reguar opportunities to connect with other Encourage families.
