Jan 27, 2022 The El Paso Club 30 East Platte Avenue Colorado Springs, CO 80903 7:30am-9am This presentation will discuss Build Back Better Framework. This bill provides funding, establishes programs, and otherwise modifies provisions relating to a broad array of areas, including education, labor, child care, health care, taxes, immigration, and the environment. Chris Poe, CPA, has 11 years of experience providing attestation and tax services to clients. His expertise lies primarily with for-profits including construction, restaurants, oil field services, service stations, and private equity. He also has significant experience with benefit plans and non-profits. He is very passionate about investments and real estate opportunities and enjoys advising on prospects and business transactions. His career began with a top fifteen CPA firm in Oklahoma but when the fresh mountain air and an opportunity presented itself to join SSA, PC, he quickly seized the opportunity to make the move to Colorado. He was promoted to partner at SSA, PC, effective January 1, 2020. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors for Pikes Peak Chapter of CFMA. Jonathan Hillman is a Director at SSA, PC with 13+ years of experience at a top 15 regional accounting firm. He accepted a position with SSA beginning in October of 2020 as an audit partner. His previous experience includes working primarily with Construction and manufacturing clients including benefit plans. He was a founding member of the Oklahoma CFMA chapter, serving on the board until his move to Colorado. He now serves on the Pikes Peak Chapter of CFMA Board. He is a member of the AICPA and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs and hold CPA licenses in Colorado and Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with both a bachelors in accounting and a masters in accounting with an emphasis in tax.
