With facilities in Everett, Lynn, and Watertown we provide automotive service to the MBTA The RIDE vehicle fleet, BostonCoach fleet, and Special Needs vehicle fleet. We are looking for mechanics for our Watertown and Everett location. Responsibilities: Performing preventative maintenance and corrective mechanical repairs on company owned fleet vehicles. Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical repairs on company owned vehicles. Assist with Installation, diagnose and repair of add on equipment such as wheel chair lifts, 2 way radios, G.P.S units Perform vehicle preventative maintenance per company guidelines. Ability to read and understand technical service manuals. Basic computer skills. Maintain a clean and neat work area. Requirements: Must have a set of hand tools. Willing to become a State Inspection Inspector (company paid training). ASE certified/ manufacturer training a plus. General Motors, Dodge and/or Ford experience a plus. Must Pass a pre-employment drug screening (including Marijuana). Must pass a CORI background check.
