Equipping women who lead in Bible study, missions, mission’s education and discipleship in the local church. Date: February 19, 2022 Location: District Eight Missions Coordinating Office Focus: Growing the Leader in You Priority: Growing spiritually healthy leaders to develop their own priorities: Priority towards GodPriority to service Hearing His call Finding balance Pulling out the calledPresentation Topics: Deep not Wide – spiritual leadership development; mentoring and nurturing new and younger (emerging) leaders. Looking Beyond the Faithful Few – drawing on the passions of the women in your group; helping them to develop their passion. Handling Sensitive Topics – equipping leaders to listen to those they lead; creating a safe environment for sharing, especially in a group; knowing resources; establishing and understanding boundaries. Affirmations – Using words that express appreciation and encouragement within the missions and ministry groups in your church. Follow through with leaders. Putting those words to practice through intentional note writing.
