Description

Let's hang out, eat snacks, drink drinks, get artsy and take sexy portraits in a cool historic loft with good vibes and lots of charm! Want to start the new year off with a bang? Break out your favorite feel good undies and join me for an evening of fun, photography and good vibes. This event is a first of its kind for me, so spots are limited. I'm offering 7 private 30 minute boudoir shoots in a beautifully decorated loft apartment in downtown Lincoln, IL. This location is an Airbnb I have rented for the occasion so I ask everyone to wear a mask before and after their shoot and be respectful of the historic property. I love the moody romantic vibe of the loft and knew it would be the perfect location for such an event. If you're new here, hi, I’m Bridget Shaw and I’m a portrait photographer based in Springfield, Illinois. I’ve been taking photos as long as I’ve been able to hold a camera, I’ve been making art since I was old enough to hold a pencil. My mother was an artist, my father, my sister, my brother, their mother, my cousins are, my nieces will be, and most of my friends are too. This is my life. My passion. It’s in my heart and soul, and it’s in my blood to create and make art. Photography is the first thing I think about in the morning, and the last thing on my mind at night. I spend most free time taking and editing photographs, planning my next move/brainstorming ideas, listening to music and watching films. You never know what will stir up inspiration so I keep my eyes and ears open. The largest source of my inspiration comes from my emotions, my inner world, as well as the world around me. I intend to convey a message or emotion, a vibe or a feeling with my photography. I strive for meaning in all that I do, it's part of the human condition. When I take a portrait of someone it's my way of learning about that person, as well as providing a service, and making art. Above all else the goal is to connect with the person through my lens, and to lend a new perspective to someone's normal viewpoint. Check out http://bridgetshaw.photography for more.
