Traditionalist Covens of New England's annual Candlemas Sabbat
Join the Witches of Traditionalist Covens of New England (TCONE) for our Candlemas celebration. Candlemas is one of the Witches’ Eight Sabbats. At Candlemas we celebrate the beginning of Spring and the Goddess’ transition from Crone to Maiden. Candlemas is also known as Imbolc, which roughly translates to in the belly, signifying the birthing of the Spring calves and lambs.
This Candlemas ritual will be led by a Gardnerian coven located here on the North Shore of Massachusetts.
Traditionalist Covens of New England. The organization was formed first in Salem in 1996 by two local covens, with the goal of providing an introduction to varying paths of Traditionalist Initiatory Witchcraft. The group offers public Sabbats and Esbats at Pentagram Shoppe, Salem, Massachusetts.
Currently our leaders are High Priestesses and High Priests in Gardnerian, Minoan Brotherhood and Celtic Traditionalist Gwyddonaid, all of which are paths of Traditionalist Initiatory Witchcraft. We rotate leadership of the Sabbat and Esbat circles through the various traditions.
