Bass looking for fellow musicians, possible band

Hey, I picked up a bass, playing around with it. I play by ear. Would like to work with a guitarist/singer or drummer or both, and try to put together some cool tunes and ultimately get a band going to play out, record any songs we come up with, see where it goes. Not into covers, just making up our own tunes. I like alternative rock, indie rock, pop rock, hard rock. I can get into glam rock too since I'm not opposed to dressing up on stage if that's the direction everyone wants to go.
