Our conference empowers women to know that we are stronger together by using women with real life experiences to share, teach and exhort. You don’t want to miss what God is going to do at this year’s women’s conference. We invite you to join us as we discuss the different ways in which we can demonstrate the “Strength of Us.” Dates: Friday, March 4, 2022 @ 7:00pm (Open ONLY to ticketed guests) Saturday, March 5, 2022 @ 9:00am to 3:00pm - $50 DONATION + taxes Sunday, March 6, 2022 @ 9:00am (Open to the public) • Theme: “For My Good” – Romans 8:28 • Price: $50 DONATION (The price will cover lunch, gift bags, a t-shirt and an amazing 3-day weekend experience!) • Payment Options: Eventbrite, Cash and CashApp (WeLIV22- insert your name) • Incentive: the first 25 women to purchase a ticket will be invited to a private Tea with First Lady Smith • Color Scheme: Yellow & Green (shades of green) • Vending: $50 for 2 days (limited spots available) • Advertise your business: $25 (your business cards and/or product samples will be added to the conference bags. Friday Night The Couch “Let’s Talk About It” • Time: 7pm – 9pm • Join us for a relaxed, intimate night with ladies wearing lounge wear and house shoes. Open ONLY to ticketed guests. • Come with an open mind and heart to get your questions and concerns addressed by a qualified panelist as we target the areas of trauma, tragedy and triumph. Saturday Workshops “Girl, Get it together” • Time: 9am – 3pm Topics: • Leaving your past behind • Holding yourself accountable: When you’re the toxic one • Time management & Stewardship • Healthy boundaries: Creating and maintaining peace We will close out our Women’s conference on Sunday, March 6 with a dynamic woman of God. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, SOU has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, SOU cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19. In light of the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not engage in SOU events and/or other face to face activities. By attending the SOU conference, you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories: 1. Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others; 2. Individuals who have traveled at any point in the past fourteen (14) days either internationally or to a community in the U.S. that has experienced or is experiencing sustained community spread of COVID-19; or 3. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.
