PRIMARY PURPOSE: We are looking for a motviated self-starter that will be responsible for assisting with the overall lot coordination, including loading/unloading equipment/trucks/etc. and assisting with taking accurate specs and pictures of incoming vehicle units. EXPECTATIONS: Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Check in incoming units. Take accurate pictures and specs for all requested units via a handheld tablet. Communicate with operations regarding inventory oversight. Assist with overall lot organization and documenting the location of units. Jump start trucks, or charge batteries, as needed. Assist with dismantling of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Use of torch and hand tools to complete dismantling. Ability to remove and install tires. Assist with drum and mixer system removal, painting, and deidentifying units, along with fluid removal for scrap units. Maintain a professional image at all times. Must follow the Company’s safety rules and policies. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Class A or B CDL is highly preferred. Valid Driver’s License Ability to operate a crane, forklift, and torch safely. Preferably 1-2 years of previous experience working with and/or on heavy duty trucks/equipment. Ability to take accurate pictures, and upload information, using an iPad or similar tablet. Accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to view a computer monitor and tablet screen. Alpha/numeric keyboarding. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Significant standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling May require some evening hours and weekends. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical, vibrations, fumes or airborne particles, toxic and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud. Works indoors and out. Exposed to outside weather during all seasons. COMPENSATION: $23 to $25per hour (based on experience) Company provided cell phone.
