Rotating, hands-on group sessions will include: Hive Parts & Assembly; Honey Bee Biology; Hands-on Open Hive Demonstrations; Equipment, tools & Safety. Vendors will be there selling hive equipment and bees.
Morning coffee, baked goods and lunch is included in all tickets. Session assignment for class rotation available when you check in the day of the short course. If you have event-specific questions or If you wish to be placed in the same group as other family and/or friend attendees or want to request a refund, contact the event organizer directly. You can do this by replying to your order confirmation email, referencing your order details, or sending them a message from the event listing where you originally registered.
Pre-registrations are strongly encouraged to allow us to plan for seating and food. We will allow registrations at the door but cannot guarantee those registrations will get lunch.
Apalachee Beekeepers Association is a fast-growing beekeeping organization in the North Florida area. Membership is for all beekeepers in the North Florida and South Georgia region, from commercial to the backyard hobbyist. Most of our members are hobbyists. All of our members are outstanding. Apalachee Beekeepers Association is an all volunteer group supporting honeybees and educating the public about the importance of honeybees.
