SARASOTA, FL — A man faces life-threatening injuries in Sarasota after being shot in the 1900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Way overnight, Sarasota police said in a news release. The shooting happened Thursday just after midnight. Detectives are following numerous leads to arrest a suspect in the shooting, police said. A suspect hasn't been taken into custody yet.
