. Organize your creative chaos in the art of the random weave basket. In this workshop, you will learn how to identify wild plants in the local landscape and take them from the field and forest to a completed basket. Inspired by the structures of many a wild creature, this basket style can be one of the simplest and yet most complex constructions. Each person should leave with a basket either complete or far enough in the process to confidently finish at home. Tools: please bring a sharp knife or hand pruners if you have them, some tools will be available to use onsite. About the Speaker Luke Baur is a basket maker, forager, woods wanderer, educator and certified permaculturist. He has been actively engaging in the process of nature reconnection for over a decade.
