Press release from the JAX Chamber: January 4, 2022 New this year is the Adventurefuls® cookie, an indulgent brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored crème, a hint of sea salt and an incredible taste of adventure in every bite. The Adventurefuls® cookie joins a beloved portfolio of iconic Girl Scout Cookies including favorites like Thin Mints®, Samoas® and Tagalongs®. This season, Girl Scouts are again selling cookies in creative, socially distant, and contact-free ways to keep themselves and their customers safe during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic: • If you know a Girl Scout, ask how she's selling cookies via the Digital Cookie online platform for direct shipment or local delivery. • Don't know a Girl Scout, no problem! Find a troop selling in your local community by visiting https://bit.ly/GSGCfindcookies. • Many Girl Scouts will run traditional outdoor cookie booths and innovative drive through booths starting February 11; all sales platforms will follow local, state and CDC guidelines while still getting everyone's favorite cookies to their customers. Every Girl Scout Cookie purchase fuels local Girl Scouts' adventures throughout the year: exploring their interests, discovering their passions and taking action on issues they care about. Whether they're using their STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills to solve a problem, changing a law to help their community, having a courageous outdoor experience or starting an innovative nonprofit, Girl Scouts build a better future for themselves and the world. Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, girls get a taste of being entrepreneurs and learn important online and offline business skills that set them up for success in life –– all while earning new Cookie Business badges. "Cookie season is upon us, and we're so glad to be supporting our girls and getting delicious cookies into our community once again," said Mary Anne Jacobs, CEO of Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. "This time of year is special –– girls learn important life skills, start their own business and earn funds to support unforgettable learning opportunities and impactful service projects. We can't wait for you to try the newest cookie and restock on all of your longstanding favorites, while supporting the most worthy cause: our Girl Scouts and their goals."
