Here are the top three stories in Norfolk today: Norfolk vaccination centers run by The Virginia Department of Health reopened on Wednesday with new hours. The Norfolk center is now open from 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Appointments are strongly encouraged to avoid extended wait times, however walk-ins are welcome. (wtkr.com)Authorities are investigating after Norfolk State, along with at least six other historically black colleges and universities, received bomb threats on Tuesday night. According to NSU officials, multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Norfolk FBI and Norfolk Police Department, are investigating the threat on campus. Students were evacuated and directed off-campus to a safe location, and no injuries were reported. (WAVY.com)Many travelers were finally able to leave Norfolk on Wednesday after days of Amtrak cancellations due to a winter storm. Temporary service adjustments are in place between Norfolk, Washington, D.C., New York, and Boston, according to Amtrak officials.
