A winter storm warning is in effect for Union County and New Jersey, beginning tonight into tomorrow with 4-6 inches of snow expected to accumulate. The snowfall will impact the Friday morning commute across the entire region.
Residents should follow all precautionary actions and prepare accordingly.

Snowfall rates could range between one half inch and one inch per hour in any heavy snow bands. Limit travel during this time but if necessary, slow down and use caution while traveling, roads will be slippery and hazardous The storm is anticipated for midnight tonight to noon tomorrow. Check local Department of Transpiration information services for the latest road conditions. Please remember parking on snow covered roads is prohibited, so that snow plow crews and other emergency responders can work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Residents are also urged not to blow or shovel snow from their property into roadways, as this creates hazardous conditions for emergency crews and other drivers.
