BURKE, VA — The Burke Wendy's is reopening after renovations and will have a free food contest for the grand reopening. The location at 6056 Burke Commons Road, Burke, will hold the reopening event Saturday, Jan. 8. The first 100 customers in line by 10:30 a.m. who make a purchase get the chance to win free food for a year. Wend American Group, a Wendy's franchise owner that's part of Flynn Restaurant Group, is offering the giveaway to celebrate the renovations. The renovated location offers a new contemporary design with multiple seating options, including private booths and lounge seating. The location also has a Wi-Fi bar and new Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage dispenser for customized drinks.
