LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun County Public Schools will be closed on Friday, Jan. 7. Administrative offices will open at 12 p.m. on Friday, the school system announced.
More snow is coming to the northern Virginia region on Thursday night and into Friday morning. Estimates from the National Weather Service predict between 2 and 3 inches of snow for most of Loudoun County.
Western portions of the county are under a winter weather advisory until 3 a.m. on Friday morning. The advisory will continue until 5 a.m. for eastern parts of Loudoun County, according to the National Weather Service.
School facilities may open for events after 4 p.m., the school system said. An announcement will be made before 12 p.m. on Friday.
