Here are the top 3 stories in Burlington today: The construction started this week Burlington's South End is expected to bring two months of detours. Visitors and residents of the Queen City will not have access to Shelburne Street from South Willard Street for about eight weeks due to roundabout construction. Traffic detours are currently in place, and access will still be available for neighborhood residents. (Free: Yahoo! News; Subscription: Burlington Free Press)In an effort to preserve and protect natural resources, South Burlington leaders are looking to update current land-use regulations. Potential changes up for discussion include expanding protections for streams and habitats, as well as stopping development in areas containing 21 or more acres of forest. (WCAX)A South Burlington man has been arrested for a string of drug activity at his home that resulted in a man's death back in June of 2021. The victim, a 29-year-old man, reportedly lost consciousness and later died after taking an unidentifiable pill at the home of 62-year-old Bruce Erdmann.
