We are seeking a Construction Project Superintendent to join our team of talented professionals. Job Overview: The Superintendent is responsible for directly managing the construction and administrative activities associated with the field operations of a project. The Superintendent is in charge of enforcing all Safety and Quality Control policies and procedures and adhering to and implementing all company policies and regulations. Job Description: • Complete all assigned projects on schedule and prepares daily job reports and time sheets, breaking down hours per job and work category, and submitting to the office weekly. • Ensure construction quality meets all building codes and standards of the contract. • Ensure all subcontractor work meets the specifications, scope of work & quality standards. • Ensure building inspections are on time and do not delay the work in progress. • Manage and coordinate all activities on his/her assigned project job site. • Read drawings, measure, locate, confirm, research and layout dimensions of all items incorporated into the construction. • Assist in meeting subcontractors to provide pricing and ordering materials. • Prepare punch lists, notes and a two week look-ahead of work sequence. • Track company rental equipment on reports. • Plan all activities on the job and prepare the schedule for timely completion. • Establish a good work relationship with the owner. Job Requirements • Full-Time • Prior hands-on work experience in the construction industry; at least 10 years experience managing projects • Establish the ability to manage/supervise multiple projects. • Creating schedules and determining sequencing of work. • Monitor the activities of subcontractors and suppliers to insure conformance with plans and national codes. • Fluent in English; Spanish a plus. • Must have strong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan.
