Woman Found Unresponsive In Jacuzzi At Northbrook Retirement Home

NORTHBROOK, IL — An 87-year-old Northbrook woman was found unresponsive in a jacuzzi Wednesday at Covenant Living of Northbrook, an independent retirement home. Police said she was taken to a local hospital and was subsequently pronounced dead. Northbrook police and fire responded to the property in the 2600 block of Techny Road at 4:11 p.m. The woman was pronounced dead at 4:47 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. The Northbrook Police Department said it is continuing its investigation and there is no indication of foul play at this time.
