Press release from the Greater Omaha Chamber: 1/5/2022 Speakers: Kelly O'Connor with Garmin and Roberta Rowlands with Kansas Workforce Partnership Kelly is a Kansas City native with a passion for people. Kelly attended the University of Kansas where she graduated in 2018 majoring in Journalism and minoring in Business. Upon graduation she started at Garmin International in Kansas City working as a coordinator on their Technical Recruiting team. Kelly then moved on to become a recruiter on the University Relations Team and is now working on that team as a STEM, Diversity & Recruitment Specialist. In her role Kelly helps to plan and execute STEM outreach initiatives and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives for Garmin along with doing campus recruiting. Kelly loves the work she does since she gets to connect with and help others and bring together multiple passions. Outside of work, Kelly loves spending time with loved ones (especially her dog Hattie), reading, and exploring new restaurants in Kansas City.
