WOODBURY, MN — Students in some South Washington County Schools are being asked to bring their own water bottles, with supply chain issues causing shortages of milk cartons — a lunchtime staple for decades.
The milk vendor for South Washington County Schools can only fulfill a portion of the district's typical order due to a "carton shortage," officials said.
The district said it will distribute its limited supply of milk to its 16 elementary schools for lunch, though there may not be enough for all students in those schools.
