DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports: Domestic Battery Sean Suarez, 34, of Woodridge, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. New Year's Day on two counts of domestic battery. According to a police report, an officer saw Suarez speeding in the 1400 block of 75th Street. When Suarez was stopped, the officer said he noticed blood on the face and mouth of a woman in the car. Suarez had blood on his hand. Suarez was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Attempted burglary Top & Tile, 7885 Lemont Road, was the site of an attempted burglary about 3 a.m. Dec. 28. It was reported five hours later. The front window was shattered, but nothing appeared to be stolen. Security video showed a suspect breaking the window. The damage was estimated at $2,000. Retail theft Jule Satchell, 55, of Chicago, was cited about 5:30 p.m. Dec. 28 at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. According to a police report, a loss prevention employee saw Satchell under-ringing items at the self-checkout aisle. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Car damage The driver's side window of a car was damaged between midnight and 11 a.m. New Year's Eve in the 7100 block of Exner Road. The car was parked in a driveway. The damage was estimated at $500. Driving violations Kajiv Fowler, 29, of Skokie, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. New Year's Day at 87th Street and Lemont Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and people charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
