CHICAGO — Bears quarterback Justin Fields has been sidelined by coronavirus, the team announced on Twitter. The news came days after Fields had been named the starter for the season finale against the Vikings after recovering from an injury. Now his availability is in doubt. Fields, who is vaccinated against coronavirus, can return as early as a day after testing positive if he is asymptomatic and produces test results that meet NFL requirements for clearing the league's COVID-19 protocol.
