Looking for someone with a heavy-duty pickup truck to dump small dumpsters at the Millersville dump. Come to our yard in Brooklyn Park and hook up to a small roll on/off trailer with a small dumpster attached (12ft dumpsters). Make sure the load is covered. Drive to the Millersville dump. Open the dumpster then tilt and dump (the trailer has a hydraulic dump, you just press a button). Lower the trailer, shut the dumpster. Drive out, give the attendant the company card and pay. Bring the trailer and receipt back to our yard. If there is more than one dumpster you will need to unload the dumpster off the trailer, then pick up a new one (it has a winch, you just press a button) The trailer weighs under 3,000lb. The dumpster under 2,000lb. We usually have them filled with 2,000 to 4,000lb of trash. Each load should be under 10,000lb. The trailer is registered at 9,900lb so a Class C is fine. A heavy duty truck is ideal since the tongue weight might be too high for a 1/2 ton. Your truck MUST be equipped with a trailer brake controller and 7-pin harness and be in good condition. You MUST have a good driving record (not spotless, but reasonable) and you MUST have insurance. You MUST have some experience towing a trailer (can be personally, if you've never towed a trailer in your life this might not be for you). We're looking to pay $100 for each load. If you have to drop a dumpster and hook up to another one we'll add another $25 for that load. It's about 20 minutes to the dump and typically takes 30 minutes at the dump, so a couple hours per load. We make between 10-15 dump runs each month, three loads in a day is no problem. Ideally this will be a Saturday gig since the dumpsters are out during the week and the dump is open on Saturday. This could be a perfect weekend side gig to make some extra cash.
