We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined to do maintenance and repair of small mobility devices in Crofton, MD. This is a contractor position that has potential to turn into a longer-term position if compatible. Pay: $20/hour with potential to increase once acclimated. Hours: Up to 30-40 hours per week, depending on your availability. The specific timing of your work is flexible to your schedule as long as you're working during our normal business hours. Location: Crofton, MD. Contractor must have their own reliable transportation. Examples of work tasks: - Assembly and disassembly of mobility carts (learn on the job) - Mechanical maintenance of mobility carts (learn on the job) - Drilling into metals and tapping for threads - Sanding/finishing/cleaning metal parts as part of fabrication process - Lifting of heavy items (at least 50lb) may be necessary This is a 1099 contractor position, which has the potential to convert into a full-time position depending on compatibility and the desires of the candidate.
