Styling Ambassador - 4 Hour Gig Monday January 10, 2022 - $100 cash Compensation: $100 cash paid at end of gig. Assistant needed for approximately 4 hours January 10, 2022 @ The Wynn Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, to assist at a photography headshot lounge. Your responsibilities will include: ‣ Offering a mirror, using a lint brush, checking clients for spinach in teeth, stray hairs, spots & lint on clothing, crooked jewelry, crooked ties, etc before they get their headshot taken. Help them to be "put together". ‣ Coaching clients on posing techniques "turtle" and "ET" and "Subway sandwich" while they are in line (I will coach you so you can coach them.) ‣ Managing apple boxes we use to adjust the height of clients during their headshot. Super height-challenged people stand on the biggest box. Average height people may stand on a very small box. You will be managing those boxes. Your personality: ‣ quiet, personable, pleasant, poised ‣ quiet, behind-the-scenes, not the center of attention Your skills: ‣ you have an eye for detail ‣ you are comfortable communicating with everybody, lightly touching people's clothing and hair after asking for their permission to do so YOU ARE NOT: ‣ a hair and makeup artist. There is not time to do even the most basic hair and makeup. Please leave your HMU kit at home. ‣ a photographer or photographer's assistant. This is a STYLIST position. ‣ chatting up the clients once you've helped them get their look together. When they are in front of the camera their attention needs to be 100% on the photographer. Your attention should only be on the clients waiting in line, and on the photographer. If you talk to clients while they are being photographed a trap door will open up beneath you and you will fall through a chute to somewhere far, far away. Your dress: ‣ business casual. Be comfortable, attractive, not formal, not bummy. Your Tools: ‣ all tools will be provided (mirror, brush, comb, lint brush). Male or Female: ‣ Yes. See above requirements. Compensation: $100 cash, paid after the gig is over.
