I'm looking for a project that writes original songs and just loves to jam and have fun with it. I'm 40, been playing since a teenager. I took a hiatus for the majority of my 30s and got back into it about a year ago. I don't have a place to practice regularly but the rust has been falling off quicker than I thought in the two brief projects I was a part of in the last year where we had a practice space. I'm still not back to the level I once was, but I'm having a blast playing again and getting back to that place I once was. I've looked into renting a rehearsal studio in Madison and it is extremely difficult to get into a monthly rent space. I'm looking for musicians that already have a space to play. On to the music style. Tool is my favorite band with Soundgarden being a close second. I'm fairly open to hearing your stuff as long as its in the rock genre. I'm also really into a genre called Space Rock, its a rock to hard rock rhythm section and a spacey, reverb lead guitar, Hum is probably the most well known band in that genre. I'm also into Stoner Rock, most popular band being Queens of the Stone Age. If it sounds like we're on the same page, please send me a link where I can stream examples of your playing. Thanks.
