Overall Job Description: Acom Consulting is a thriving and growing company in telecommunications, specializing in designing and building antenna systems for cellular carriers. We are looking for an enthusiastic employee to begin their career in this ever-growing industry. As a member of the construction division, you will primarily be responsible for prepping and installing outdoor antenna system. Our main construction projects are completed on utility poles. Currently, we do not need a lineman, electrician or tower climber, but that experience or desire is very welcomed! If you have no experience in this industry, don’t worry we will train! You will not be out in the field every day, around half the days are spent in the warehouse assembling the antenna systems or taking inventory. Essential Responsibilities: • Building antenna systems per the specifications of the construction drawings • Preparing antenna build kits • Receiving and organizing materials in the warehouse • Communicate with the leadership team for any gaps that would prevent a successful build • Communicate with line crews and electricians on the job site • Maintain or improve the status of the warehouse • Operate a forklift efficiently • Complete builds or maintenance in a bucket truck or ladder Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age • Have a valid driver’s license and be in good standing • Reliable transportation and able to arrive at the Auburn, WA warehouse daily between 6am and 7am and leave between 3pm and 4pm • Must be able to stand and be outside in various weather conditions for 8 plus hours • Safely lift at least 50lbs • Ability to efficiently use various power and hand tools • Drive to learn and advance your career • Efficient written and verbal communication • Basic hand tools required after 30 days Benefits: • Competitive pay • Bonus program • Health Insurance after 60 days • 401k with 4% matching after 6 months • PTO and 10 paid holidays • Training opportunities and options to become a foreman or construction manager • Very fun and positive working environment • Company wide goal to have a healthy work/life balance Please email a resume with “Field Technician Application” in the subject line.
