12 hours shifts working a compressed scheduled Graveyard shifts available $30.80 per hour, weekly pay!! 1-year Contract Shifts: Front Half Nights: Sun, Mon, Tues, and every other Saturday (10% Shift Differential) Back Half Nights: Wed, Thurs, Fri, and every other Saturday (10% Shift Differential) Volt is looking for qualified Critical Facilities Technicians for our client's Data Center located in Prineville OR, who is an American multinational technology company, that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services and is considered one of the Big Four tech companies. Responsibilities include: • Perform maintenance activities according to prescribed tasks to ensure the highest level of efficiency without disruption to the business. • Accurate and timely completion of work order requests that include performing equipment inspections through the daily recording of rounds and readings. • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facilities including all building systems. • Work with the client and data center personnel to schedule equipment to be taken offline so that preventative maintenance can be performed. • Monitor operation of electrical and mechanical equipment supporting the facility and its critical operations. • Provide vendor support for project and task oversight. • Responsible for ensuring government regulatory compliance, EPA/OSHA compliance, safety program, CFC handling, and other similar programs with direction from their management team. • Must be able to immediately respond to operational and emergency situations. • Perform other duties as required Requirements: • Must demonstrate an understanding of risk mitigation practices and their application in critical sites. • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and overcurrent protective devices. • Familiarity with sophisticated equipment monitoring, alarm, and building automated management systems in all aspects of life safety and fire alarm systems. • Thorough understanding of MP & E and their control systems. • Must be able to stand/walk for 12 hours per day. • Must be able to push/pull up to 75 lbs. Average products weigh between 25 lb. - 50 lbs. Equipment lifts are provided for larger items. • Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull and reach as required, on a continuous basis, throughout their shift. • Requires ability to climb and utilize ladders, personnel lifts, and scaffolding. • Requires the use of hand tools and test equipment • Use of appropriate PPE will be required and may include the use of safety glasses, shoes, gloves, and face shields. • Work in confined spaces. • High School diploma or GED equivalent • Experience in a mission-critical site environment -Electrical Specialist preferred. • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
