Description

There is no rehoming fee! We are looking for the best home, and vetting anyone looking to take her. Family/Life stability, an active lifestyle outdoors (especially snow) and another dog a part of your pack are all requirements of what we are looking for. We are all the above, with the exception we can't get another dog, and it's about her happiness which is why we are rehoming her. We absolutely love this dog and she is the best. So if you reply to this please be ready to answer questions and provide information before we consider even meeting up. About Billie! (female) At 1 year and 5 months old, she is a big dog. Last we checked she is just at 85-90 pds. She is not crate trained. Is spade. Trained on and off leash, but you will want to go through the basics until she knows you are taking care of her, she loves her current home a lot. She will need a new vet clinic that you can comfort and be there for her, she has had awful awful and forceful experiences with vet clinics and does not want to be touched. She loves older kids that are running around and want to play with her, but hasn't spent enough time understanding that she's big and will knock kids over if they are trying to crawl on her or push her around. Billie is an absolute sweet heart with the biggest personality and a gentle giant that wants constant love and social time. If you don't know much about the breed qualities, she holds tried and true to all of them, with the exception that she is a totally socially loving dog. A side note though. She is timid in large groups, and if there is a lot of yelling she will get scared. We have a great setup right now. We get outdoor activity and dog park 3x a day! She is also an amazing adventure dog, we spent summer absolutely crushing smith rock misery ridge in the mornings together and spend a lot of time in Tumalo Falls snow shoeing. But the situation we are finding ourselves in is that she needs another dog in her life all the time. While still having the ability to run a lot, and someone who is excited to be around her a lot. We have thought about adding another dog to the family, we have taken care of some of her best friends for "slumber parties" and while it has been a lot to take on at night especially, she has never been happier. Now she is getting to a point where even with the constant activity, she is very unhappy at home and waiting for the next time she can be with another one of her pack. And we are not in a situation to add another dog to our family unfortunately with a toddler on our hands as well. About your dog? She will match that dogs energy. So if you have a young energetic dog that wants to play 24/7, Billie will do the exact same thing. So just keep that in mind. If your dog can chill but loves having another dog, it would probably be the easiest. If it's puppy on puppy, just be prepared for a lot of training the first week and separating when you need to. Please inquire by email Thank you so much for viewing.
