A weekly Open Mic on Mondays, 6:30pm to 9:30pm. All ages, abilities, and genres welcome. Our Weekly Open Mic Is Back! Starting Monday, October 26th, Life Realized, Inc. will be hosting a weekly open mic at our new-to-us facility, The Dearborn Center, located at 501 W. Dearborn St., Englewood. (Across from Comadres Mexican Restaurant) The open mic will run every Monday, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and will follow the same format as previous open mics: • All ages, experience, abilities, and genres welcome; an encouraging, non-judgmental environment to grow musically • Vocalists: live accompaniment w/prior notice* • Acoustic or electric; stomp boxes OK; NO AMPS - direct to PA • Bringing your own microphone is strongly encouraged • Sound system setup/doors open at 5:30pm • Roster sign ups start at 6:00pm; pick your slot; 17 slots max.; first-come-first-served • Collaboration is encouraged • This is a BYO (Bring Your Own) chair, food, and beverage and? TYTWY (Take Your Trash With You) event*** • Our COVID-19 Plan = 2-1/2X minimum Social Distancing = 60 people max; masks encouraged We are excited to be re-starting our open mic and even more so in our own facility.
