We are looking for Early Childhood Teachers and Classroom Aids to educate, play and care for our 2 to 4 year old children. ECT position pays $19/hour to start, Aid positions start at $16/hour with opportunities to increase hourly wage based on completion of training programs. The hours for this position are 8:30AM- 5:30PM (must have ability to shift up or down by a half hour based on enrollment). This position is Monday through Friday, no weekends, no evening/nights (with the exception of a 2 hr monthly staff meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month). Classroom Aid position has no requirement of prior experience, education or training. We will provide all required training, mentoring and coaching for this position. We also provide a state approved training program for Assistant Teachers and Aids to earn the Colorado Early Childhood Teacher qualification at the end of the 1st year of employment. We promote from within our program so there are always opportunities to grow. Job responsibilities -Most Important….enjoy being with children! Play on the floor at child level supporting social emotional development, modeling friendship skills, language and vocabulary, modeling self regulation and encouraging creative play in blocks, dramatic play, fine motor manipulative toys and science both indoors and outdoors. -Maintain a safe and healthy environment. These duties include cleaning tables and chairs, washing and sanitizing toys, laundry, assisting and modeling proper hand-washing and supporting and assisting children in personal care routines (potty training, diapering changing for the younger children and support children learning dressing routines) -Good attendance and arriving on time for your shift is a MUST. -ECT is responsible to plan, prepare and implement lesson plans, provide daily communication with parents including photos, videos and documentation utilizing the lifecubby app, document and complete developmental assessments and conduct parent teacher conferences. Requirement Must complete FBI (national), CBI (Colorado) and TRAILS (Colorado child abuse and neglect) background checks. If residing in Colorado less than 5 years, additional state background checks will be required.
