WE ARE HIRING! Bent Glass Design, Inc. is a custom glass fabrication company located in Hatboro, PA specializing in one-of-a-kind, complex curved and flat glass products for architectural, automotive, and marine industries. Additional company information can be found by visiting our website at www.bentglassdesign.com and www.procurveglass.com First Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm (15 minute morning paid break) / (30 minute unpaid lunch period) Second Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm (15 minute morning paid break) / (30 minute unpaid lunch period) Normal: Monday thru Friday (extended hours and weekend work may be required to meet customer and/or product demand) Note: If hired for the 2nd shift, training may be necessary on 1st shift for at least the first month. On the job training will be provided for each position available Requirements for positions: Salary and Benefits: Ability to lift 50lbs regularly Starting Rate: $16 - $20/hr. Reliable means of transportation 401K Program w/Company percentage match Ability to work on your feet all day Major Holidays Ability to work safely and efficiently Employee Health Benefits (premium paid for employee base plan) No physical restrictions or limitations General Shop: • Help in all departments; handling/ moving glass, cleaning, light weight tools, painting, etc… Glass Cutters: • Use crane, glass pickers, suction cups, operate CNC cutting table • Glass handling/ moving, seaming edges, checking sizes with tape measure, quality inspection Glass Fabrication and Painting: • Glass handling/ moving, seam/grind/polish glass edges, hole drilling, glass cutting, measure, inspect • Lay-up paint lines, mark-off accurate details / paint glass with spray guns CNC grinding equipment operators • Set up, equipment maintenance, quality control, read drawings, attention to detail Glass Toughening: Tempering Line operator and helpers: • Set up, equipment maintenance, quality control, read drawings, attention to detail • Clean glass, inspect glass, load and unload Chemically Strengthening: • Load and unload glass from cages, pull and drop cages into tanks Bending: • Set up glass and tooling, load and unload, seam/clean/inspect/measure glass • Help to monitor bending process and procedures Laminating: Clean Room environment • Glass handling, cleaning glass, lifting/moving, hand assembly process to prepare glass by lay-up, glass assembly, measure glass/paint lines, bagging and racking for autoclave. • Ideal skills are attention to detail, cleanliness, good communication, and work closely with others. Maintenance / Grounds Keeping: • Perform general maintenance and maintain facility cleanliness • Use scissor lift/high reach for repairs and maintenance, follow safety rules • Assist with plumbing, electrical, engine maintenance and repair • Assist to maintain facility grounds / light landscaping • Front office and factory janitorial duties
