Here's your chance to learn about the sport of curling - and even give it a try. The Albany Curling Club is excited to once again be hosting a series of Introduction to Curling sessions on January 5 to January 9 ! If you've ever been interested in curling, here's your chance to come and check it out! This event is open to vaccinated adults and children over 12, so sign-up as a single or bring a group of family and friends to learn all about this very fun and social sport! ACC is a two-sheet curling club, so the maximum number of people per time slot is eight with four people/sheet. The event is $10 per person (non-refundable) and advance registration through this site is required. Walk-ins and guests are not permitted. Make sure to bring sneakers, a mask, and dress in comfortable layers that you can move in! All other equipment and instruction will be provided. COVID-Precautions: • ACC takes COVID-19 seriously, so all attendees, trainers, and volunteers will be required to wear masks.• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required prior to entry, so make sure to bring your vaccination card or have the NYS Excelsior Pass. (Note: All ACC Members have also demonstrated proof of vaccination).• Only individuals who have purchased tickets and provided proof of vaccination will be granted entry. We are a non-profit organization, dedicated to promoting the sport of curling: a game of skill, strategy and good sportsmanship for people of all ages.
