You are not alone on your natural hair journey or the journey to becoming the best version of you. We're right there with you. Lets talk!! Real women, real conversations about what our curls really mean to us and how we as Queens rise above it all. This event is a soft landing place for us to have a safe place to share feelings or thoughts without being judged. All while sipping coffee or beverage of your choice. The floor will be open to discuss whatever is on our hearts to ask or share but some of the things we will discuss while we sip sip is: How has the natural hair movement shaped your thought's about your own hair, have you fully embraced the movement and was or is it still a struggle? ~What does friendship really mean to you? ~How do you show up as your Highest self? ~Mental health awareness ~What are you dreams and goals for 2022? ~I'm so Excited for this event. Our Special guest is Dr. Dana R Bennett! Dr. Dana Ray Bennett is a sincere and unapologetic advocate for women and minorities and believes education and mentorship play a key role in providing opportunities. Dana is a psychologist with a masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a doctorate degree in Christian Business and Leadership. As a champion for mental health and wellness, Dana considers it her mission to help others find their voice and wholeness by providing a safe space for people to grow and heal. Dana travels as a public speaker, author, and trainer with a teaching style that is graceful, transparent, witty, challenging, and relevant. With over 20 years of experience in Corporate America, Dana specializes in financial compliance, leadership development, mediation, mission planning, team building, and communication. In addition to helping organizations grow, Dana serves as co-pastor at her local church (Connect Church Plano) where she diligently pours into others without reserve helping them find purpose and community. She is also a licensed broker, insurance adjuster, professional real estate investor, and co-owner of a luxury rental car business – Forward Auto Rental. Dana counts it an honor to have the opportunity to speak via various platforms from boardrooms to pulpits. She is a wife, mother, business owner, pastor, public speaker, author, and leadership strategist – most of all she is a trusted partner and friend. Light snacks will be provided. Coffee, tea, water and mimosas is your beverage of choice. There will be door prizes!!! You MUST show a recent negative COVID test in order to attend the event. We will be checking at door.
