Experienced singer looking for...something...

Singer with over 30 years of experience in bands looking to join or form a band. I've sang almost everything over the course of the years, but most of my experience is in Country, Southern Rock, and Classic Rock. I'm open to originals, if you're open to covers. I'm gonna try to answer the usual questions in this post, so I don't have to keep repeating myself. No. I don't play any instruments. No. I don't do screaming, screeching, growling, rap, or anything really high pitched. So, what this means is, I don't do AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Journey, Judas Priest, etc. My voice is best suited for 80s - 90s Country and Rock, as well as Southern Rock. I can pull off most Grunge and even some of the 80s Hair Bands, although I can't hit the high notes like I used to. No. I don't wanna just get together and jam. I'm trying to put a gigging band together. It takes time to get to that point, but that is my ultimate goal. No. I won't travel an hour or more for practice. If you're not local or willing to compromise, it's probably NOT gonna work out. Yes. Wives and girlfriends should be allowed at practice. Mine will be. No. I don't use drugs. I don't want to be around it. If you're into that, that's fine, but we probably won't get along. Yes. I'll occasionally drink a beer or a shot from time to time, but I don't get drunk and it doesn't affect my performances. No. I don't wanna play the same ol' songs. How many times do people seriously wanna hear "Gimme Three Steps" and all that, anyway? Let's bring 'em some stuff they're not hearing every other band play every weekend. No. I don't care how much experience you have. As long as you can play what we decide to play, we'll be fine. Yes. I expect to practice on a regular basis. Once a week is perfect for me, but we can talk about that later. No. I don't care what you look like. I don't look like Bret Michaels or Vince Neil, and I don't expect you to look like them either. No. I don't sound like anyone else. If you want Steve Perry, Sebastian Bach, or Geoff Tate, then I expect you to sound like Slash or Tommy Lee. But, let's face it, if either of us were THAT good, we wouldn't be looking for bandmates on Craigslist. I'm a really nice guy. You should be too. No. I'm not interested in a "co-singer" situation. If you already have a singer, you don't need me. If you're interested, and serious, gimme a holler. I prefer texts or emails. I hope to hear from you soon.
