PLEASE READ THE DETAILS OF THIS FIELD TRIP CAREFULLY. EACH FIELD TRIP HAS UNIQUE GUIDELINES FOR AGES, NUMBER OF CHAPERONES, ETC. NO REFUNDS! This field trip is for Heartland Charter School high school students. Students will have a blast outside racing on go-karts, playing mini-golf, and riding bumper boats in Camelot Park, Bakersfield! This event will have to be paid for out-of-pocket directly to the venue, but don’t let that discourage you from having a great time with your peers! Students can also bring extra money for the arcade inside! Students will learn about the physics involved in go-karting, mini-golf, bumper boats, and more. While normally all field trips require a chaperone, this high school field trip has a drop off option. If your student will be dropped off please complete this waiver and email it to Deonna Tack at [email protected]. Your student may not be dropped off unless this waiver is completed. Adult chaperones are welcome to attend, but will need to reserve a ticket and pay out of pocket when they arrive at the venue.The cost to attend is $16.99 and will be paid directly to the venue on the day of the field trip. Each person attending needs to reserve a free ticket on Eventbrite and will be paying the venue in person when they arrive.We encourage families to turn in a sample that is linked to the field trip that you attended during your next learning period. It helps to ensure that we can continue to provide these trips and their educational value. **To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.***Masks will be required for all indoor field trips per California state guidelines.Please read our refund policy! Refunds will not be given. As a courtesy, if you are sick or unable to attend a field trip, please contact the teacher that planned the event to let them know so they do not wait at the venue for you. You may not send a different family in your place as we will not have a waiver for them. Can I pay using my funds? No, this field trip must be paid out of pocket. Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? Students must be in high school, at least 56 inches for go-karts, at least 44 inches for bumper boats, and at least 48 inches for batting cages. In addition, different rides have height, weight, and size restrictions. It is recommended that a student’s height, weight, and size are known before attending. What are the check-in procedures? Check in with HST in charge, pay for tickets in person. Is there on-site parking available? There is free parking. Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Camelot Park will have food and/or drinks available for purchase by students. Please do not bring food that contains peanuts to any Heartland event. How do I contact the event organizer?
