We are a male couple that lives in Bronzeville. My 41 year old disabled brother lives with us. He suffers from a traumatic brain injury that he has been living with for over 10 years. We are looking for someone smart, reliable, and hardworking who wants to work with great people. We need someone with a car who can work and utilize the vehicle. This job will involve many different tasks. You must be willing to do house cleaning and be good at it, transporting of my disabled brother to medical appointments, assisting my disabled brother in his art studio with cleaning and acting as a painting assistant, running of household errands from shopping to picking up packages to dry cleaning, to acting as my Personal Assistant to support the needs of my brother. We are looking for someone that has has some interest in the sport of running as my brother has just finally returned to running and he needs a support runner for half marathons and marathons since he is disabled. We also need someone who is willing to attend high school math classes with him in mornings as he will be adding classes to get his high school diploma. This job is at least 40 hours but typically more like 60 hours a week. We need someone that is really committed to hard work and building a nice relationship with a really good guy. Because my brother is disabled, it forms attachments and finds it hard when people go in and out of his life. We are looking to hire immediately. Reliability and dependability are very important. The job will pay $15/hour cash.
