WILMINGTON, MA — Interested in running for office in Wilmington? Nomination papers are now available for the 2022 town election, which is April 23.
Seven seats are on the ballot this year across four boards and committees.
Nomination papers are available from the town clerk's office until March 4, when they are due back.
The following seats are up for election:
Board of Selectmen — 2 seats, 3-year termCurrently held by Greg Bendel and Kevin CairaSchool Committee — 3 seats, 3-year termCurrently held by Jo Ellen Newhouse, Jesse Fenelly and Jason SamahaShawsheen Regional Technical High School Committee — 1 seat, 3-year termCurrently held by Robert PetersonWilmington Housing Authority — 1 seat, 5-year termCurrently held by Stacie MurphyThe last day to register for the election is April 1. Voting will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 23 at the following polling places:
