S.O.S. Mental Health in the Black Community Free Workshop On the third Saturday of each month, our Registered Marriage & Family Therapy Intern Tranquilla Golden-Taylor hosts a safe space where you can have candid dialogue about issues facing the Black community, such as generational trauma, societal expectations, and systematic racism. Other topics we'll discuss: - Mental health & the stigma against getting help - Incarceration and its impact on the family - Single family homes - Career development & dealing with the barriers to climbing the ladder - Self-esteem/actualization - Communication - Healthy conflict in relationships And more... We understand that life can be heavy. We invite you to join us, set down your burdens, and learn some coping strategies and stress management skills that can help you see life differently. Attendance is free, but please register so that we know you're coming to our downtown Orlando location. Snacks will be provided, and parking is free. See you there!
