PEABODY, MA — The scene of a serious crash has cleared after multiple lanes on Route 128 were blocked Wednesday morning. Three northbound lanes and one southbound lane were closed at mile marker 64 in Peabody, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said. Reports indicate five or six cars were involved in the crash. Major delays have followed. Patch will update this breaking story
