Press release from the Hudson Schools: Tracy Habisch-Ahlin January 4, 2022 Over the past 10 years, anxiety has increased in teens at an alarming rate. According to the National Institute of Health, nearly a third of all adolescents will experience an anxiety disorder before reaching adulthood. This session will explore signs and symptoms, potential risk factors/causation, and how parents and adults can support treatment and wellness in children and teens.  Includes a panel discussion with school counselors, medical providers and mental health providers.  Gather community resources and information on supporting your child's social and emotional wellbeing. This event is organized by the Hudson School District Mental Health Advisory Council and is part of their Parent and Caregiver Engagement Series. Technology and Mental Health April 14, 2022 5:00-6:30 PM at Hudson High School Research has indicated that technology can have both a positive and negative impact on children's mental health. This session will explore the potential impacts of screen time, social media, and cybersecurity with a child focus. Tools for the safe and healthy use of technology will be included.  Questions?
